In the first three months of this year, Gazprom earned $9.59 billion on gas exports. This is 32.2% more than in the same period of 2020.
Gazprom’s revenues from gas exports through pipelines increased by more than 30% in January-March, the Russian Federal Customs Service reported.
Let us recall that preliminary data from Gazprom show that in a slightly longer period (January – April) the company exported almost 70 billion cubic meters of gas, mainly to Europe. This is significantly more than in the analogous period of 2020.
Exports (January-April) to non-CIS countries totalled 68.4 bcm of gas, 28.3% (15.1 bcm) more than in the same period last year.
Elevated export volumes were recorded in most markets: Turkey, (+143.7%), Romania (+139.8%), Serbia (+97.9%), Germany (+36.8%), Greece (+34.8%), Poland (+20.6%), Italy (+11%), France (+16.9%).
