Energinet: Baltic Pipe has commenced operation at full capacity
The gas pipeline was commissioned with partial capacity on October 1 – it is now ready to send gas at full capacity, which is up to 10 billion cubic metres of gas per year (BCM/a).

At the end of 2021, the production of biogas injected into the gas system was at a level corresponding to just under 25% of gas consumption in Denmark.
The construction of the Danish part of the Baltic Pipe Project is expected to increase in cost to 1.1 billion euro.
